Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a RARE Honda Motocompo scooter. These scooters were produced as "trunk bikes", with the handle bars, seat, and pegs being able to fold so they can fit into the trunk of cars or tight spaces. There were just over 50,000 of these produced and they are very hard to find! The scooter runs great and I've had it for the past 20 + years. The only time it has been used was as a pit vehicle at the race track. It will start up on the first kick after sitting for several months! The horn still works and the gas gauge is accurate. The cable is disconnected from the speedometer but can easily be hooked back up. It does have a newer tire on the rear that is a little bigger than the original. Cosmetic damage can be seen in the pictures. The panels on the sides have some scratches and paint missing, they can easily be repainted. The rear plastic/tail light of the scooter was damaged at one time. I've seen aftermarket tail lights available, just never purchased one. Somebody that is good at fiberglass work could make it look like new again. The lights on this bike currently DO NOT WORK. The turn signals and headlight worked at one time, they may just need bulbs. I never needed the lights so I never took the time to figure it out. The rear light is just a mock-up light. I do have the title and several books/manuals which are shown in the pictures. The mileage on the title was listed at 15. I had to insert a mileage to list this item, the actual mileage is unknown (I didn't see an odometer anywhere). I've tried to describe everything the best I could, but if you have any questions feel free to message me and I'll try to answer them. Price Point: I've seen a really nice Motocompo listed at $6500 buy it now while another not so nice one is listed at $2,000. I understand this bike isn't perfect, but it is in good running condition and wouldn't take much to fix it up. Also, the rare manuals/books and title makes the price go up in my mind. BIKE IS BEING SOLD AS IS, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. NO RESERVE, GOOD LUCK!!! Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs based on shipping location.
