1964.5 Ford Mustang D code This car was an old race car and had only 29,000 miles on it when the boss 302 motor was vented and parked in 1971. The car followed the owner from New York to Florida and was never placed back on the road for 35 years. Currently: Looks like a 65 GT Power disc brakes -factory k/h set up 5 speed 9 inch 3.55 traction lock Rear sway bar Fresh 1996 351w roller cam with aluminum heads and Dyno sheet 439 torque 385hp (10 miles on engine)Unisteer rack and pinion Be cool aluminum radiator Powemaster gear reduction starter Power aster alternator Ron Morris clutch cable Mustang Steve roller bearing clutch set up Electric fuel pump Holley 715 carb Dyno max muffler with x pipe Headers Rally pack Sport seating 2 style- new15x7 and 15x8 steel styled wheelsGlobal west sub frame connectorsTruck lite headlights Original floors and quarters- very nice body and excellent paintD All the hard stuff is done- this car has two issues1. It needs to have the transmission pulled andThe flywheel needs to be replaced with a 28 oz unit . It currently has a balance issue due to the wrong unit being installed.2. The manual unisteer unit needs attention. I do not like the way it drives the wheel will not return to center. I understandthis is an issue with the manual unisteer units.I think the solution to make it a better driver is a independent front suspension kit. I have a boat load of money in this car and it needs a person with more skill and passion to complete this car.The car is currently registered and will run and drive.
