This 50 year old classic pony is a beauty and she runs like the wind! The 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible "Limited Edition" Sprint 200 (aka Springtime Sprint) "A" Package is equipped with a 200 cid powered in-line 6 cylinder, 3-speed manual transmission, 120 horsepower, bias tires and many ORIGNAL parts. Moreover, the 'stang is garage kept. The manifold was replaced and linkage worked on in 2012. A new top and interior carpeting was installed in early 2000's by a previous owner. Seatbelts, steering wheel, driver side mirror and hubcaps are not authentic, however, these items can easily be replaced by original parts. Painted springtime yellow in the 1980's, however, initially raven black. Furthermore, there is NO power steering and/or power brakes. It appears the car has an undercoating on it and there is some rust present (refer to pics), as I would presume most 50 year old cars would. I have no knowledge of whether the mustang was ever in an accident. Few paint chips. Minor dings in rear and front bumpers. There is a very small ding on the rear (right side) of the car beneath the trunk area. Furthermore, the metal bar affixed to the convertible top on the driver side is not perfectly straight, rather it slightly droops. It may be missing a bolt, etc. Refer to photos #1 and #6. However, the top is still fully functional. A great project car for power upgrade or simply keep as is for daily use and/or weekend strolls. Three sets of keys and floor mats convey. Owned since 2009. Used as a leisure vehicle, i.e., Sunday drives in the country, drove to local ballgames and occasionally to work. The car has been appraised. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
