You are looking at one True Barn Find, 1979 ALL ORIGINAL, RUST FREE, CALIFORNIA, Chevy Silverado C-30, Camper Special, Dually! And Yes again, it is a California Built(CA. Fremont plant), And sold(Caddel Chevrolet Co. Roseville CA.) Rust / Rot Free Chevy Truck! It's ALL original down to the FACTORY PAINT! The chrome is beautiful and the paint still shines. We took some close of pictures of the front fenders and wiper area, where the paint has rubbed/came off. Adds a little of that Patina look, so that is NOT any rust, just a few spots where the paint has came off down to factory black primer etc. She came from a Farmer who hardly used it. Just look at the bed.. Its in perfect condition! No dents and that's the original paint inside of the bed as well! We took the rubber mat off so you can see how perfect shape the bed is in! The whole looks just great. The original 454 Motor has Never been pulled out! And it passed smog recently with flying colors. The inside paint and carpet is in perfect condition as well. The Only things we noticed was that the original radio doesn't turn on, A/C does not blow cold, But it's All there & hooked up and the clutch still engages as it should, clock is inop, speedo just quit working(prob the cruz control unit), the dash has a couple cracks and the seat has wear on the drivers side, but the foam is still good! Nothing is missing, or has been messed with! It has All of its original books/manuals(perfect condition), And it has its original buildsheet, that we carefully took out from under the seat! Not much too say here other then that! This is a TRUE BARN FIND, We just cleaned it up some and fixed a couple things---- PS. we just had Two new front tires, the brakes redone all the way around, new lines, front disc turned and the rear drums turned as well. All was done at a very well known brake shop here. This will make a great truck to restore, or just drive it as is! Some stuff that need to mention, but is Not critical are; This truck is being sold as is( its over 35 years old, seriously, so of course there is no warranty, but we just have to say it). She does have a couple very small door dings here and there, more like scratches etc, and one very small dent in the hood, and could use some new exhaust gaskets, but we want to be honest!But I'm sure you'll be Very hard pressed to fine a cleaner all original 37 year old truck with No rust, and still wearing its original paint!The reserve we feel is set at a Very reasonable price compared to others on here!
