2000 Honda Civic LX 209k+ miles mostly highway4 cylinder automaticLight Gray paint with gray interior. Timing belt was replaced at 205,956 miles, along with temp sensor, fan switch, spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap and rotor, oil and all fluids. 10/24/14 The car runs and drives, great car for commuting and saving on gas, but it has the following issues. Our mechanic said it needs to have the head gasket replaced( head gasket kit included in sale of vehicle), Needs brakes replaced, new tires, oil change, has exhaust leak but a new gasket comes in the head gasket kit, also needs two O2 censors as is the reason for failing inspection, headlights need to be resealed, needs tlc. We don't have the time to get it fixed as it was already replaced by another vehicle. The car has dings and dents on the driver side rear door, roof, bumpers, cracked grill, the interior is gray the outside color of the car is light gray, its a 16 year old car its not going to be perfect. some paint is faded and some was resprayed by previous owners. Its an automatic, with power locks from the aftermarket alarm system which we don't have the keyfob for, but its wired so replacing it would be easy, manual windows, comes with sony aftermarket head unit and wiring for subwoofer, has LED light inside. Missing the front speakers the car never came with them has two rear speakers. The fan inside for cooling and heating is making a weird noise and needs to be looked at. Gear shifter is a bit stiff needs to be looked at also. This civic would be a great project car for the weekend warrior, or for a mechanic that knows how good these cars are.
