All Original BMW R90S! No Reserve!! This bike has been well used and taken care of, especially mechanically. All original save for Progressive shocks, backrest, grips and braided steel brake lines (black) It has the character and charm from real use over 41 years and 87,xxx miles, running great! Complete top- end, clutch and rear main seal at around 40,000 miles. This R90S is ready to ride cross- country right now. No leaks, looks good and you can see the cosmetic wear in the pics. Nothing has been re-done with regard to the looks. Mechanically very well maintained by the original owner (my brother) who bought it new in '75 (it came to me after he became unable to ride)I did the following when I received it; complete tune- up (points, condensor, plugs, valve adjust, replace all fluids including forks) New tires Avon Roadriders in proper sizes. Re- built master cylinder, new Ferodo brake pads, braided steel brake lines and new brake cable; It actually stops now! :-) Throttle cables, throttle tube and associated gear/ chain so the throttle is as smooth as new! cleaned carbs, fuel tank & petcocks and replaced most rubber o- rings and gaskets. All lights and gauges work properly except for the clock; the light works but the clock does not run. The tripmeter reset knob DOES work properly. Battery is good, steering damper was not present, I've had no instability issues at all, (had it up over 115 a couple times no problems) The 'Laminar Lip' windscreen extension is removable with no damage to the original, just a couple plastic bolt/ nuts instead of the factory rivets.
