We just got this 280 SL in stock and the Pagoda is in good condition. This car was repainted a few years ago close to the original color. The paint is a little wavy with some overspray. There are some scratches and dents here and there that were pointed out in the pictures. The car could use a quality paint job and fresh body seals. The Hardtop was repainted in white and is missing the drip rails. The inside of the top looks worn and could use new wood and a headliner. The interior is in good shape. The leather and carpets looks to have been replaced and shows well. The tan soft top is worn, dried out and needs to be changed out. Most of the wood looks good but some pieces needs some refinishing as well as the dash board. The car comes with an aftermarket radio and working A/C. The undercarriage looks good with very minimal corrosion or rust. This Mercedes runs well and has a very extensive service history with 20k of work including a rebuilt engine with new long block in 2012. With some investment and restoration this 280 SL will be a beautiful and super elegant car! We try to be very honest and detailed about the condition of our cars so there are no surprises.
