BUY IT NOW PRICE REDUCED $1000 TO $4995 TO SELL QUICKLY 1972 MGB Convertible w/Over-Drive transmission California car was recently purchased from 3rd owner who has owned since 2010 and used as an almost daily driver and kept garaged. He purchased from San Diego Car Club owner who also used as a daily driver and had kept car garaged and did the majority of the improvements. All gauges work except fuel gauge is a little finicky, all lights work; including upgraded headlights and racing bumper lights, Interior is in nice condition. Paint was done about 5 years ago and still looks great. Only rust on the car I could find is on the passenger side front fender about the size of a dime, battery box is dry as well as is undercarriage; other than typical surface rust. Engine has nice compression and oil pressure; temperature gauge stays in center even in traffic. The transmission shifts well and car rides very well on good condition tires. The car has overdrive but I cannot confirm if it works; when I move the lever I don't notice a change in RPM. May need to be looked at as well as Dual carbs could use a tune up; just installed a new starter and battery. Car comes with air dam, spare tire and jack, fairly new convertible top and original headrests. Car is a blast to drive and is registered in California until 2017, comes with CA title. White stripe across fenders and hood is painted on while the decal on the hood is vinyl and can be easily removed. I also have a new in box Pertronix Electronic Ignition that will come with the car at the Buy it Now Price. I am selling because I have taken on a 1966 VW 13 Window Bus Restoration and I need to to throw a lot of cash at it; so this and a few other cars are for sale.
