This classic Chevelle Malibu is a car in works. Time, money, and now health have delayed the project and now I must sell as I'm fighting an eye disease. Mechanically, this car is a daily driver. The engine had been replaced with the 83 Firebird Chevy 305 V8, Runs fine and no smoke. Tranny is solid and drives well. Extras are PS, air shocks in rear, American Racing Mags, almost new tires, factory A/C (was retrofitted to R134A and ran), original Protec-O-Plate and build sheet for San Antonio dealer. The headliner, visors, and rear shelf have been replaced. Again, this is a project car. All the photos with this listing were taken after the hail damage. Aside from the hail damage to the hood, roof, and trunk, the paint job will need to be stripped or repainted as the rear roof pillars and hood developed large peeling issues. The peeling paint was sanded down and yellow primer paint was applied on parts of the hood and roof. The windshield is cracked and needs replacement and the rear window should be resealed. The interior (dashboard and door panels) was a tan color and was dyed black. The seat coverings being different is due to a mouse infestation where they got into the vinyl upper front seat. I bought a new front seat (velour with white stripe) but never got around to putting the velour seat covers on the back (vinyl) seat. I'm including the bottom vinyl front seat and upper seat covers for the new owner. That;s all the good and bad things about the Chevelle I can think of right now but can't guarantee that you might find something I missed. The Chevelle is a classic muscle car that's getting harder to find each year that goes by. This Chevelle is sold AS IS!!! Payment terms are a nonrefundable $200 PayPal deposit.
