1984 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Turbo Diesel Wagon. California Car, low miles, GORGEOUS! You are looking at one of the nicest 300TD wagons you will find. In mostly original condition, the “ Manila Beige” paint still shines like new. The only flaws to be found are some small miscellaneous chips, dings, etc; The kind that you only find when under close inspection. It also appears as though at some point a narrow strip along the front left fender was touched up. The overall impression of the exterior is excellent. The body is solid and straight. I cannot find any rust on the body or undercarriage. Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The bumpers, window rubber, chrome, etc are all excellent. The hand painted pinstripe is flawless. The tires are only a few months old. The palomino interior is impressive. The original carpet did not match the condition of the rest of the car, so I went ahead and replaced all of the interior carpeting, including the trunk with the correct factory “feintuft” wool. This was not cheap, but it was absolutely worth it. It makes the interior feels like a brand new car. With only 165K miles, this wagon runs strong. It starts without hesitation, idles smooth and has plenty of power (for a diesel wagon, that is!) . The transmission shifts sure and proper. All of the displays, gauges, lights, switches, etc. work properly. The climate control (heat & AC) both work. The mechanical condition is very tight. It has been serviced, all belts, filters, fluids have been replaced. The AC has been charged so that the car is ready for summer. This wagon is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner!
