For sale is my Mercedes 300 SD. This has been a really dependable car while I drove it. Has the 5 cylinder diesel w turbo engine, which has quite a bit of power. The car gets about 24 mpg, and would cruise at 75 all day.It has been a comfortable car and I really liked it. However, last August I was driving down the road when suddenly I heard the engine clatter. I immediately shut it off. After I got it home I found that for some reason the oil was way low. The car will still run, but not the way it's supposed to. The local bureaucrats now say it has to go. The car's transmission works very well. The car is sound except for the engine. I'm of the opinion the problem is not real serious, though I can't say for sure what the problem is. Therefore, it has to go. Car is being sold with only a $200 starting bid.
