I purchased the Oldsmobile in 2012 from the estate of the originial owner. The Oldsmobile had not moved out of the carport since 1978, it still displays the Indiana state inspection from 1978 . The Super 88 required a new battery, complete tune up and fresh gas, with a little work it ran perfectly . In 2013 a complete brake job was performed, the brake booster and master cylinder were rebuilt by White Post Restorations , the brakes now work like new. The transmission pump and seals were replaced in 2015, the transmission shifts smoothly. I removed the original seats and had them reupholstered in the original pattern, I did prefer to switch the cloth upolstery to midnight blue at that time. In 2013 all the trim was removed and the paint stripped to bare metal for $ 2500 , it was competely repainted in spring of 2015 for the cost of $ 4500. In 2016 all four floor pans replaced with reproduction floor pans for the cost of $ 1,250, once completed I replaced the carpet with proper molded loop carpet. All window, door and trunk seals have been replaced with high quality seals from the Steele Catalog for a cost of $650. The headliner is original. The tires are Sears Bias Ply.. The Virginia title states actual mileage. This is a rock rock solid no rust Oldsmobile ! It is very reliable and safe to drive. I will sell World Wide .
