I am selling my 2000 Honda Blackbird. I have owned this bike since 2007 and I purchased it from a co-worker who was the original owner. He managed to ride a lot more than I have. The bike currently has 36441 miles. The bike is inspected in Delaware until July 2017 and will have no problem going back through inspection in any state as it sits. This bike is in great shape and has a few flaws that would be expected with a 2000. This bike is a pure rocket and was the fastest production bike before the Suzuki Hayabusa. The speedometer tops out at 205 MPH. You won’t see too many people with the Blackbird. This bike has been meticulously maintained since day one. This bike was stolen before I acquired same. The bike was located approximately 8 months after the theft and after my co-worker had been paid out on it. When located, the bike had flat tires, scratched wheels, no exhaust cans, no Power commander, and no seat. My coworker purchased the bike back from the insurance company and replaced all the removed components. Due to this the bike has a Delaware Rebuilt title (Theft Recovery). The bike is an absolute joy to ride but family life and other commitments prevent me from enjoying it as much as I’d like to, I would rather see it go to a new home where it can get used vs my bi-weekly rides. The bike is turnkey and ready to go and has a lot of upgrades. The bike has had a coolant service (flush), new NGK plugs, oil change (Mobile 1 4T / K&N Filter) and new battery (Yuasa) February 2016.
