Listed by private seller. Owner is not a mechanic or dealer. All information provided is to the best knowledge of the owner. Inspection before bidding is welcome and encouraged. 1997 Volvo 850 Base. Engine starts and runs fine. All accessories still working including a/c and radio. Note that the power seats listed indicate driver power seat only. NJ Inspection good until 3/17. See the pictures. The car makes a very decent appearance. No known body issues such as dents, rust. Paint still looks overall good. Does have the required scratches as any car this age would. Odometer reading is inaccurate. Stopped at 141,888. Actual mileage is probably 170,000 or so. If it's any help my new, 18 mo. old car, has about 6,000 miles on it. This car is only for someone who wants an 850 and is willing to do mechanical repairs on it. The car was evaluated by a local shop. Their evaluation indicated it needed struts, one cv axle shaft, Stabilizer link, alignment, rear shocks. It has a rear main seal leak that has not caused problems as yet, needs brake job, the anti-lock light warning light is on. This Vintage Volvo should have a ride home via trailer or flatbed as the listed defects are all safety related. Have questions?? Want more info? Please feel free to ask before bidding. While stopped at a traffic light another vehicle made a right turn, the other driver was sun blinded and did minor damage to the left front including the front bumper and air dam.
