Rare 5 speed 1988 635Csi The current owner purchased this BMW in 2007 and since has driven it approximately 15K miles - This is a car that loves to be driven. Over this past summer the owner joined a group of driving enthusiasts on a 250 mile roundtrip drive over the Cascade Mountains and this was on a two lane extremely twisty road that encourages spirited driving and this BMW handled flawlessly and passed cars with boost to spare. Never over-heated and the brakes and handling were solid throughout the driving event keeping pace with much newer and more expensive cars. This BMW is class personified that is also a blast to drive and the new owner should have years of driving pleasure from this well sorted machine There are 2 categories of 635’s for sale. 1. The stock or Euro versions. These are beautiful cars but by today’s standards they are underpowered. Your grandmothers Accord is quicker. 2. The M’s or ‘restored.’ These are either garage queens or Sunday show/shine cars. Too expensive to really drive. What if there was a 3rd category? The beauty and the beast.
