1973 Honda Elsinore CR250M, the first year of this Killer bike. When this bike came out it was a water shed event in the MX world. I purchased this bike about 18 years ago out of California. It still has the Off-Road permit sticker for that state. When I received this bike from the shipped, I started the bike and then stored the bike and planed to one day restore the bike. The condition that you see it now, is the same condition that it was when purchased 18 years ago. The bike is a nice example of an original Elsinore even still wearing its SOLID handle bars. The air box, which is almost always missing is still intact and both side covers are in nice condition. The pipe does not have any holes but has the usual amount of damage for one of these old bikes, and INCLUDES THE PICKLE Silencer. I started the bike again before listing it and it started up but will need some carb work. Aluminum D.I.D. Rims, nice and straight. No cracks in the motor case or the frame just a clean old original bike, please look at all of the pictures. There is a broken fin on the cylinder as shown in the pictures. The seat looks to be original and is in nice shape, not nice enough for a restored bike but still a nice original seat. When was the last time that you saw one of these old Elsinore's that still had the original Kick Stand on the bike? Original Aluminum fuel cap still in place and functional. Bike has been stored in my dry climate controlled warehouse for the duration. I am not an expert on these vintage Race bikes but I do know that these bikes are hard to locate in this original condition. If you need any other pictures, please let me know. I will not build a crate for shipping but you more than welcome to come by and personally inspect this bike before purchase. There will be a $500.00 deposit required within 30 minutes of the end of the auction and then the balance will need to be paid for with Bank Wire of certified check. If a check is used then as soon as the check has cleared, the bike is yours, cash in person works as well. This is an old race bike and I make no claims about the amount of hours that are on this bike, I do not know and will not make any assumptions but the bike is all there and starts. No warrantee on this bike, which I am sure that anyone familiar with these original vintage race bikes understands. There is NO title for this bike. Bill of sale only.
