I have taken numerous trips, all logged and documented. Turn key car, can drive at 60 mph Coast to Coast. I am stating the facts and will not state my opinion, as I want YOU to be the judge. I have records dating back to early 70's. Have had it for 3 years. Item marked with (*) is what I have done to make it road worthy. A funny story about the clutch: When I got the car, I was told the clutch had 500 miles. It was not shifting right, it was grinding and I decided to look into it. The previous owner, at age 90 had done all the work himself... Turns out the disc was installed backwards... I smiled, because doing a clutch at age 90 is way beyond my expectations. I bought a new kit and "since I was there" I replaced it along with a new TO bearing, put new HD springs and had the disc resurfaced. No corners were cut. As with all my vehicles, I ride with my kids and safety is paramount. I would not hesitate to drive it "to the moon and back". 21MPG on 87.6.5:1 CR 90HP Compression was taken when I bought it and it showed 1-6 at 130 PSI cold. Located in Magnolia, TX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpDmBzyHGYA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwoExnqbcJg When I got the car, it had a 2 quart plastic radiator expansion tank next to the battery. It had no overflow drain, it was just connected to the radiator hard overflow tube with a 1/4" hose. It basically circulated 2 extra quarts of antifreeze. It had two marks, hot and cold for checking levels. I did't like the way it looked and I replaced it with a 10" long x 3" wide chrome catch tank. This tank has an overflow drain 1" from the top. It holds about 36oz of fluid and it designed to catch the overflow of the radiator. I topped if off before I left and this is what you see in the video. It's not exactly what I wanted, but I like the way it looks and 25oz is what it takes with out overflowing.
