Vehicle Detail

1979 CADILLAC SEVILLE This item did not sell the first time it was listed 1 week ago, I am relisting the car at a much lower price as I need the room and this has got to go. Because of the previous listing I have sold the rebuilt 403 Olds motor I was including with the car, it is no longer available. As time permits I will be adding additional pictures of the car and what comes with it as I had several questions the first time around, I get home after dark so please be patient and I will get it done but everything and more that I say goes with the car is included. Thanks for looking at my auction.THIS IS A "NO RESERVE" AUCTION, THE HIGHEST BID WILL GET THE CAR!IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN OFFER, CALL ME AT 305-310-3866 AND I WILL TERMINATE THE AUCTION AND SELL IT TO YOU IF WE AGREE ON PRICE.CAR HAS TO GO, THERE IS NO MORE ROOM AT MY HOUSES TO STORE IT AND I AM MOTIVATED, LETS MAKE A DEAL! Dave VIN: 6S69B99493372 condition: excellent cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 51,000 paint color: silver size: mid-size title status: clean transmission: automatic type: sedan 1979 CADILLAC SEVILLE 4 DOOR, 51,000 ORIGINAL MILES, TWO OWNER CAR IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH LOTS OF EXTRA PARTS INCLUDED! I bought this from the original owner's Estate on Ebay 2 years ago for $6500.00 in Vancouver Washington and had it shipped to Miami, it was not driven and sat in a garage for almost 4 years before I bought it and it had 47,000 miles. I drive this to work every day and I work close to home so that explains the low miles that it has now (51,000) The car has had one repaint in the original Corinthian silver color and has a silver leather interior. There is a scratch on the left hand side of the trunk that happened when it was shipped to me and a bubble in the paint on the drivers side rear passenger door frame. Vinyl top has the usual little bumps that can be expected on an almost 40 year old car. Car is very presentable and I get compliments on it every day! People think it is a show car and are surprised that I drive it every day to work! I only run Brad Penn oil in the car and WIX oil filters, it has been well taken care of. The 1979 Seville is the last year for this style before the car was discontinued and is very hard to find. It was the least produced of the 4 year model run and the best. This car also has the optional powered sunroof that works but the previous owner sealed it and cannot be used unless it is unsealed and Reese Class III factory trailer hitch. Car has a AM/FM Stereo but it is not working currently but the clock in the radio is working, I don't use it so I never tried to find out what the problem was. It also has 4 wheel disc brakes, is powered by an Olds 350 engine with Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection which works perfectly. These cars also had the very desirable Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes with new Master Cylinder, power windows and power locks (they work but I pulled the fuse as they would sometimes work by themselves) and Air conditioning (which did work but currently not working as I took the compressor off to replace the intake manifold gaskets) and have not yet reinstalled it. I installed a WS6 Trans Am front sway bar on the car with new stabilizer links (polyurethane) from Energy Suspension and also installed the same links on the rear sway bar, the car handles so much better then a stock Seville. Car also has new Air Shocks on the rear, all these cars came with air shocks but these are more heavy duty. Tires appeared to be new when I purchased the car and have a lot of life left. The car has a new 2 1/2" performance dual exhaust system that consists of 6 total mufflers (three per side) and a crossover pipe that was custom made as I wanted good performance and wanted it to be quiet also. I also purchased two new Thornton W-30 cast iron exhaust manifolds for the engine that the exhaust is run from, there is no longer a catalytic converter on the car. There is almost $1000.00 in parts and labor in the exhaust alone, just the new cast iron exhaust manifolds were $350.00! In the pictures you can just see the stainless steel exhaust tips under the bumper. Car has a new Aluminum Radiator, new Spark Plugs and Spark Plug Wires, new Chrome Valve Covers with new gaskets and new Chrome Air Cleaner with new filter and a new alternator. The oil filler tube is new and not small like the original in these cars to clear the air pump (which I removed and trashed). There was an oil leak on the intake manifold so I had to remove the air conditioning compressor to remove the intake and fix the leak. I used the factory Olds steel sheet valley cover along with new aftermarket intake manifold gaskets (Olds never used them) so it won't happen again. Car runs very well and has a lot of low end torque, easily keeps up with todays traffic and stops with authority thanks to the 4 wheel disc brakes which were very rare in 1979 on any car. Has a 2:56 rear gear and effortlessly cruises at 75 MPH all day long! This is my third Seville, my second 1978 Seville was totaled when I was hit by another car and all of those parts come with this car when I sell it, some of the parts are: Complete 10 bolt Positraction 8.5 rear end rotor to rotor with disc brake calipers installed from my 1978 Seville, this alone is worth $1000.00 at any swap meet as it also fits leaf spring cars like the Camaro, Firebird, Nova etc. Complete used front bumper in very good condition, from my 1978 SevilleNew in the GM box front hood cast Cadillac trim piece surround Complete tilt steering column with keys from my 1978 Seville Complete front left hand and right hand spindles with rotors, calipers, and backing plates Both left and right rear leaf springs Complete spare fuel injection aluminum intake manifold complete with injectors, special distributor and other small parts 1978 Pontiac WS6 Trans Am Steering Box that bolts right on the car and sharpens up the steering that I already had plumbed and installed on my 1978 Seville. The air conditioning compressor from the 1978 Seville that works fine and was new years agoExtra power antennae from the 1978 SevilleAccessory clock from the 1978 SevilleAll the other parts in boxes that I have go with the car Everything else that I have for this car and the items I took off my other 1978 Seville that I still have are included in the sale, some are too numerous to mention and I cannot remember them. I also have 4 brand new Sylvania Halogen headlights that I bought for the car and they also go with it when sold, I never installed them and they are still in the original boxes. I measured the positraction rear end that goes with the car and it will fit in the back seat area, I will just remove the back seat, lay down thick cardboard and place the rear end on it with the extra set of leaf springs, then I will put the back seat on top of that with more cardboard to keep everything safe and secure, the rest of the items are already in boxes that will fit in the trunk. The front bumper will fit in the trunk and extend to the rear seat area, when done everything I have will fit in the car for easy transport with your carrier. Car runs and drives very well and is very reliable and can be driven from my home to your home in total confidence or I will meet with the shipper of your choice to help load the car. I have a complete new set of bumper fillers that also go with the car, all you have to do is paint them and install and installation is easy. My buddy has had them since last September to paint them and they are still not done but they are brand new and they just have to be painted and installed, the fronts are fine on the car and you can save those, you can see the back is missing a piece as I cracked it off so that he could match the paint, I am sorry I did that now! Any questions, please call me at 305-310-3866 I will be happy to hold the car at one of my homes once paid for so that you can pick it up when it is convenient for you. I wanted to keep this the rest of my life as I love these cars and was making improvements a little at a time (exhaust, suspension, the bigger engine was next) but my wife bought me a 2016 Hemi Ram R/T truck for my birthday and I no longer need this car. Good luck and happy bidding, this is a very good and strong running Seville, I have made sure of that! THIS IS A "NO RESERVE" AUCTION! THE HIGHEST BID WINS THE CAR! Dave I got home from work tonight and jacked up the car in my garage and added the pictures that I promised earlier, now you can see the Energy Suspension bushings and the 6 muffler exhaust. You can also see how oil tight the engine is and how clean this car really is as it only had just over 50K miles! Dave
