This is a 1965 Chevy Belair 2 door sedan project car. Basically its a body, with clear title, in my name.This car needs a lot of work, but has potential, to be a very good car, when done.It would be very cool, with a big block, or LS engine in it.You wont see too many of these around now days, sedans are kind of rare, in these bigger chevy cars of the late 60s.This body has good and bad points.Someone has put new rear quarters on the car, but then let it set outside long enough to cause them to surface rust. It needs new floor pans in 3 of the 4 areas, where you put your feet, car comes with new pans to replace, these 3 areas, but are not installed, and again,someone, let these new pans get surface rust on them. Also the windshield cowl area cover, between rear of hood and windshield is missing, this part should not be too tough to find, its common to all 65-66 chevy big car models. The over all body condition, is not too bad and its a pretty straight body, rockers are good, under doors are good.I do have the rear bumper and tail light body pieces. The interior, including original seats, is in the car, but not very good condition, seats are good enough to have re-done, headliner is in car. The car was originally a 283, manual 3 speed car. It now has a small block, with a three speed trans, shifter in floor, I do not know anything about this engine, and would consider it as junk, thats how Im selling it, doesnt look good. The rear end is a 10 bolt, I assume its a non posi, have not checked it. Also the wheels DO-NOT go with the car, I have promised these to someone already. I will include 4 15" chevy rally wheels, but they do not have good tires and will need to be cleaned up and repainted. Buyer needs to bring roller tires and wheels at time of pick up.
