You are bidding on a fully equipped Toyota Prius 4 with rather high mileage but looks new and has no problems. Everything on it works perfectly, from the heated seats to the solar sunroof. (If you don't know, the solar sunroof does not attempt to power the car; what it does is to run a fan when the car is parked in the hot sun that keeps the interior temperature down to whatever the outside temperature is--a great feature, especially if you have a pet.) It has pretty much everything else Toyota offered in 2010--the JBL advanced CD-changer/blueray player, leather heated seats, navigation system, keyless locks (two key fobs), 11 airbags, bluetooth phone connection, cargo net, rear cargo cover, small spare, etc., etc. I bought the car new as a "company car" but have put 95 percent or more of the miles on it myself, almost all of them in a long-distance commute between Charlottesville and Baltimore. It is a non-smoking car and has always been garaged when in Virginia. The oil has been changed regularly by Jiffy Lube, and the only times it has been back to a dealer were for some recalls and for a set of brakes a couple of years ago. The car has never been in an accident, but it did suffer some damage when a tree branch fell on it as I was driving down a rural road in 2014; the branch landed in the middle of the hood, so several body sections had to be replaced. But only sheet metal was affected, and whatever was replaced was done with genuine Toyota parts (not the substitute stuff the dealer tried to foist off on me). Since the front end needed to be repainted anyhow, I took the opportunity to change the color to one I like but which was not offered new--the Seafoam Green. The car needs nothing, although the tires will need to be replaced before long. I'm offering it at about 25 percent below what others seem to be asking for less-well equipped versions because of the high mileage, and well below what one dealer said was the norm for even high-mileage cars. (There is nothing wrong with its battery, but should you eventually have to replace it, the cost has come way down; I'm told you can get a good used one for around $400, though I have not actually priced one.) The car is located in central Virginia, near Charlottesville, and I'd really prefer not to ship it. If you want it shipped, you'll have to do the arranging and complete payment in advance. I will not entertain offers from outside the US. This was my third Prius (and I now have a fourth). They are fantastically good cars--ask anyone who owns one--and this is a great one at a great price.
