UP for grabs is A 1983 Chevy K-10 Custom Deluxe short-box 4X4 4-Speed Transmission. I received this truck as a trade and will do my best to describe it to the best of my abilities. This truck does run and drive good drives straight and stops good. I was told the engine is a 350 V8 from previous owner tag in glove box says 305 V8 so I assuming the engine is not original to truck. It does run good and is quiet when running and does not seem to burn any oil may leak a little. Power steering makes chatter when cold and may also leak some. Clutch and brakes are working good has granny gear. All exterior light and blinkers are working High- Beams don't work. Gauge lights are not working. All gauges work except temp gauge. Has dual tanks and I have only used drivers side tank the passenger side tank is un-tested. Interior needs work seat is worn, dash is cracked and blower and heat controls do not work the blower motor has ben tested and does work when by-passed. Steering column has some material chipped out near steering wheel. Only have ignition key and no door-lock keys. Truck has no Major rust anywhere has been in AZ and NM. Look at pictures and you will see the truck is missing all trim and has some dents in quite a few spots along with what looks to be original paint. Has Automatic locking hubs that work great when 4X4 is engaged. Tires have 5k miles on them. Front bumper is also not original . This is a solid rot-free truck and a great start for a restoration or you can drive while working on it.
