RESERVE REDUCED! This listing is for a 1962 Chevrolet Impala 2-door hardtop coupe. This car was completely rebuilt from the ground up, disassembled, refurbished & restored. Every nut & bolt in this car has either been replaced or restored. Didn't have access to a lift on day the pictures were taken, but I assure you, the undercarriage looks as good as the exterior & is better than they came from the factory. Some concessions were made for for modern comfort & power. The 283 ci. V8 & powerglide transmission combo was swapped out for a freshly rebuilt high performance 350 ci. V8 & TH350 automatic transmission. The triple white paint has to be seen in person; it is like glass! The original style red character stripe in the chrome moldings really set it off. The front bench seat was replaced with a pair of 1962 Impala SS (Super Sport) bucket seats & covered in SS style red vinyl front & back. It would not take much to make it a complete Super Sport clone, or go the other way back to all original; but this car was built with the intention of being a daily driver. Always gotta be some bitter jerk that tries to ruin things for everyone else...
