Vehicle Detail
1970 Chevy El Camino SS tribute. This is a 13680 code "El Camino Custom" WATCH THE VIDEO Re-listed with a buy it now. Almost hit the reserve last time listed... It has its matching numbers 350/300 HP 4 bbl. with its TH 350 tranny and backed by the rarely ordered 12 bolt posi. rear, usually saved for the big block cars. It has power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, AM radio are all original. This car had a complete restoration in late 2010. Only 5000 miles have been put on it since. Paint and body, motor and tranny rebuild and interior headliner to carpet. The exterior is a beautiful Vermillion Red base coat, clear coat with the Saddle interior with red piping accents, looks excellent. Must mention, although it looks perfect in the pics, there are a few minor chips and scratches in the paint from normal use and 6 years of time, it's not perfect. The interior is mint. The bed has the Rhino type liner in it and that could use a black rattle can, it's a bit faded in color. The body is straight as a arrow, rust free, clean under side, get in and go. It has a small oil spot under it when parked, maybe valve cover as well as a small bit of tranny fluid which looks like the pan gasket. Remember this car has been barely driven in 6 years. This car was purchased at Mecum Auctions in Illinois in 2010. I have the official bill of sale from them along with a open Missouri title from the consignor. Someone is going to get a great car for a great price. Approx. 5000 miles since fresh everything. I am selling it for a friend who bought it there for investment and it was his dream car, couldn't resist. He is finally ready to let it go.
