We recently bought this car from The County Of Sacramento and before the auction ends we will transfer the clear title into our name. (We didn't do it yet because we have to do it at the DMV since AAA apparently doesn't transfer police cars. I repainted the passenger doors and both front fenders and the results are quiet good except for a part off the front door and there is some overspray. See pictures. I think it looks good but not perfect. But the car was a former cop car so its not babied and has some scratches and scuffs all around. I installed the back seats and door panels so everything works now: Seat belts, door handles, power doors and windows. No warning lights are on. The transmission had been low on ATF so i replaced the drive shaft seal and its been driving like new ever since. I have owned another Crown Vic for a year and 20k miles (now at 193k miles) and these cars are great. The one in this auction takes off like a rocket it runs much better than my personal one. good: -very strong V8 -250 HP - drives and looks good -only 92k miles -simple robust technology -will come with plates, smog and registration you can drive it home -everything works bad: needs new tires (maybe I can hook you up if you need some) front bumper cover cracked SEE PICS scratches and scuffs all around, police equipment holes and bolts on the roof SEE PICS not professional paint work and little bid of overspray SEE PICS I will keep working on the paint job and remove some overpray so when you get it it will look BETTER than the pictures but I just had to start the auction now and not lose more time, we have 3 Ford V8s, one has to go. Please make sure you check out the car in person I don't want you to be disappointed or get the wrong impression that it looks like hell.
