Hello Chevy Caprice lovers, I have for sell a 1989 box shape Chevy. This car will start with the turn of the key and sounds good. She has the original 305 in it with the original transmission of a little over 104,000 miles on it. This car is being used as a daily driver but need some work to be all the way complete and sound. This car is for someone who is looking for a derby car, a project car, or a quick fixer upper to commute back and forth to work. The reason I say that is because she need a headliner, body work, paint job, interior work, the windshield has a crack, the muffler need to be replace, the Ac compressor is locked up, the heat works but barely, the windshield wipers sometimes get stuck and the car has to be turned off to stop them from moving, and the transmission pan gasket has a small leak. The mechanical part are all easy fix if need any and the transmission pan gasket is about $25/$30 dollars and comes with a filter. You just have to unscrew about 14/15 bolts to replace it. I have a lift at work and can replace it for buyer at cost. The only part that can be costly fixing this car up is the body and interior work and that why I'm selling it. I just had a son and cannot afford to fix her up like I want to; people where I am from take these cars and make show car out of them. They look real nice fixed up and restored. You can drive this car home if you live around The southwestern part of Ks. You can chance it anywhere else like southeastern or north at your own risk. The car drives fine for me and have for months but I cannot promise you the same turnout for I am not a mechanic. I would suggest you tow the vehicle until you get her ready ready.
