This is a very nice 1964 Mercury Comet 404. The car starts easily, runs down the road well and retains all of its original factory options. The tires are 95%+. The factory Mercury A/C has been converted to R134A and blows ice cold. Mileage shows 85,500 miles which given its condition and history, we believe is correct; but, we cannot guarantee. The interior is original and in good condition with no rips or tears; but, it does show some wear and soiling as would be expected on a car of this age/mileage. The engine was rebuilt last year and runs well. The transmission shifts as it should. All glass is clear with no cracks or separation. This car has been in Texas its entire life and as captured in the pictures is rust free. Paint is very nice with only a few minor chips and scratches. The chrome is original. It is shiny and presents well. This is a very nice driver quality vehicle which will not dissapoint at this price.
