1961 Impala Professionally built to resemble a 62 Belair bubble top. 454 big block with muncie 4 speed. Very solid car. HD Aluminum radiator, Edelbrock aluminum intake, hooker headers and turbo exhaust. New clutch and pressure plate, u joints, shocks, breaks. Front disc and new tires. Trans is all new with the exception of the case. Engine has approx. 2,500 miles since complete rebuild and runs like new with plenty of power. Complete new interior by Ciadella. Beautiful paint. Car runs and drives great. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere but it is over 50 years old so no warranty. No spare tire shown but one comes with the car. It has a 62 front end 62 quarter panels, deck lid(Belair with two less tail lites) and a 62 rear body panel. What you have now is a 62 belair two door sport coupe or Bubble Top clone if you prefer, on a 61 chassis. The vin plate is the one that came on the car from the factory and it matches the title. Both state 1961 Impala. The interior is also 1962. All work was done by a reputable classic car restorer with over 40 years experience. End result is a poor mans 62 Belair Two Door Sport Coupe. It is radio delete has a vintage type tach and the paint is base clear and excellent.
