Relisting truck due to nonpaying bidder. 1979 Chevrolet Short Wide Bed Pickup truck. The truck has a 454ci big block with 650 Holley carb, aluminum intake, closed chamber heads, .030 over flat top pistions, Lunati .570 lift cam, headers, turbo 350 automatic transmission, new starter, new battery, and new fuel pump. Has aluminum centerline wheels. The truck has all the gauges including the in dash tachometer, and has aftermarket gauges under the dash. The turn signals, brake lights, tail lights and headlights all work and the windows both roll up and down good. The doors open and shut very well and all of the glass is good in the truck except the windshield does have a small crack. Truck has factory air conditioning, but is missing the compressor and lines. It does have tilt wheel, power steering, and power front disc brakes. The truck is drivable, but in my opinion is not a daily driver. The truck seems to be pretty solid although it does have some very minor rust on the drivers and passengers side floor pans, but the floors still feel solid and are just starting to rust through. Also above the rocker panel inside the passenger door is also just starting to rust through, but again nothing major. The exterior body is very solid and inside the bed is also very solid. Truck has a clear Missouri title in my name. I would consider this truck a project truck, or a fun little hot rod, but with very little time and effort could be a great daily driver.
