1950 Ford custom . Hot rodded in the late 1950's . Stored away since 1956 , Offenhauser heads , dual carb intake , hot ignition , lowering blocks to rear . Body seams filled . Front end molded together . Tail Lites rounded , head lights frenched . All chrome trim has been shaved , nosed and decked . Gas filler has been moved inside the trunk area . I purchased the car from the widow of the original owner . She gave me the polaroids dated 1956 . Went through the brake system replacing the master cylinder , wheel cylinders , steel lines . Also replaced the gas tank . The flathead V8 does run well and drives but gets hot . Keep thinking I will continue to work on it but cannot find the time . Great platform for someone to restore . With a little more work this could be a drive as you restore project .The lead and bodywork already done would surely cost more than the asking price .Surface rust on the frame . The front floor could use replacement mostly on the drivers side . Trunk area is solid . Chassis has surface rust but is solid . Will need tires and exhaust . Original Mohair seats are in nice condition . I am happy to help load on my end . The car has been garaged for the past 55+ years and is currently garaged it can sit here for a short time after purchase .
