Vehicle Detail
This is my 1995 Cop Car Caprice 9C1. It has been a great car. It is scary fast, comfortable, and has been very reliable. I was the mechanic on this car before I bought it. I don't really want to sell it but I am planning on moving soon and I cannot take it with me. Positives:-Has Cop Car Struts and better than Cop Car Shocks (replaced the old shocks with new ones and can handle 500 extra lbs per wheel).-Replaced all the suspension bushings with polyurethane bushings tightening up the handling.-Replaced all the ball joints within 15,000 miles (upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and steering arm ball joints)-Aftermarket dual sport exhaust-Tires are less than a year old.-Added Key less Entry.-Replaced driver side front break caliper.-Replaced headlight lenses with new ones.-Cool Air Intake and I just cleaned and oiled the K&N Air Filter.-Replaced seats with leather seats (the front two are electronic).-Painted the entire interior black (hated the ugly blue)-Replaced all lights on dash board and heater controls.-Replaced interior cabin lights with red ones.-Replaced steering wheel.-Upgraded all 4 speakers with new ones.-Put in new Stereo with Auxiliary Input/CD Player/Ipod Connection-Put in 12 inch sub with AMP-Put in a CB radio-Put In extra cigarette lighters (have to charge cell phone and use GPS)-Gets 22 MPG on the Freeway. That's Pretty good for a V8. Negatives:-The Push Bar was taken off before I bought it. Where the bolt holes are on the front bumper the paint has started to chip. -I replaced the A/C Compressor, accumulator, orifice tube, and seals. It worked great for a few 5 years but I think the gas slowly leaked out. So it needs a refill then it should work again.-It leaks 1 quart of oil about every 2000 miles (I am not surprised it 21 years old).-Someone put Impala badges and rear wing on it (it dose not affect the car at all but I personally liked they were stock but I never removed it).
