Classic BMC 740l Sports , LOW RESERVE! This is a classic BMW 740l. The car is a "used car" and I will try to explain whats wrong with the car . The car has low miles and is a luxury car but needs work to be perfect. First, the car could use some new paint, the hood and right side rear quater panel has faded paint due to clear coat and sun exposure. The car is also needs front ball joints replaced but is drivable and starts. Driving the car at high speeds (55 mph or over ) produces a shake in front end which is associated with ball joints and tie rod. A new battery is recommended also, the original Welker battery has a blown cell. Also rear passenger side tail light needs to be replaced. I would say that these repairs are small compared to the car's real value. I want to see it go to a good home in which the driver will restore it to showroom condition. the engine is in great shape so is the tranny. Have the Manual and Bentley Repair Guide on DISK.
