The sunroof works perfectly and we have not detected any leaks and noticed no rust around the opening. The interior is in fair condition, noticeable scuffs and scratches to dash, doors and headliner (headliner was horribly “repaired” by last dealership with noticeable grease prints). Seats, interior carpet and carpeted mats are all in very good condition with the exception of the driver side seat lift lever. The interior door panels are worn and the door pull handles are cracked/pulling out. All of the interior electronics and dash indicators work as well as the keyless entry remote. The engine was running smoothly and was getting great gas mileage but will need repairs. It needs a head job and the timing belt, belt kit, drive belt and water pump all need to be replaced. ***The roof rack pictured is not included.*** Closing: Once the necessary repairs are made this will be a great little bug again. The diesel engines on these cars are known for their power, great gas mileage and lasting for years! Currently the car is with our mechanic SLK Autohaus in Orland Park, 708-226-0810.
