I have a 1958 Chevy Belair that I've owned for about 8 years.Prior to my ownership the car was stored on blocks inside a garage for 24 years.The underneath is clean and solid minus some surface rust.This Chevy has the most solid underside of any Vintage Chevy I have ever owned.The car was painted with an average paint job and the Body had no dents worthy of mentioning.Just small dings and small dents before painting.The front windshield was replaced and a new gasket installed.Also the rear window glass was removed and a new gasket installed.The exhaust is new and sounds great!..The fuel tank and sending unit were replaced and the front end received a new rubber and ball joint kit.The original 283 and cast iron powerglide were taken from the car by a friend who later gave them back to me,but by that time I already installed a rebuilt engine with 7,000 miles on it and an aluminum powerglide transmission.The interior seats were stripped to bare metal and painted black and new burlap and foam was installed on all seats,headliner and door panels too...So I have a decent 58 that is a driver and will need some small things like weatherstrip and plastic for dome light etc. or just drive as is!.It has been in storage for 5 years and I am almost 60 so time to sort things out ..We can sell to overseas buyers,no problem..Buyer pays shipping
