1967 CHEVROLET C-10 SHORT BED "BARN FIND" ORIGINAL "PATINA" *PROTECT-O-PLATE* 2ND OWNER Up for bid & ONLY available for sale here on E-bay is a nice ORIGINAL 1967 SHORT BED "FLEET SIDE" C-10. This truck still has the original MOTOR, TRANSMISSION, CARBURETOR, REAR END, BODY PANELS, INTERIOR & ETC....THIS IS A VERY ORIGINAL TRUCK THAT HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED OR MOLESTED. This truck has a great distressed shop truck patina look to it. Also with its originality and documentation it would be a great candidate for restoration! This is an unrestored classic and will need rust repair and some cosmetics to be a "SHOW TRUCK". But these trucks are getting (VERY) hard to come by...especially one as original as this. I put a battery in it and hooked it up to an auxiliary fuel line and it turns over freely. I have not took it any further than this. As of now it currently is not running, the carb will need to be cleaned as it squirts fuel out of it when trying to crank. The horn & lights work (some bulbs will need replacement as expected). Also the brakes will need to be done from sitting. I have put 4 good used tires on it so all the tires hold air. Also the clutch feels good and strong. All of the gears feel good on the column as well. With minimal effort this Chevy will run & drive. My plans were to put this truck on air bags and lay a heavy clear coat job to the original patina and upgrade the original motor to a modern drive train. But I have another project I have taken on and would like to see this truck go to someone who can take this truck to the next level.
