Vehicle Detail
Honda XR250L Dual Sport Motorcycle in excellent overall condition. A very nice Motorcycle cover is included, which is in excellent condition. Great for on road or off. Wonderful today for a lot of trails that are CLOSED to off road vehicles. Here is one you can ride everywhere. Runs great. Tires are nearly new. Has some scuffs etc., but the mileage is low and will last many more years with good care. Parts are readily available. Compression release has been removed, after market grips are in place, and smaller blinkers are installed. They work, and I have the originals also which go with the bike. Remember that these models are kick-start only....NO electric start. I love these things! The spark arrestor is removed from the exhaust pipe, and I THINK I have it somewhere. If I do, it goes with the motorcycle, of course. The trick is in finding it! The only reason it is being sold is because I am building a new garage and simply have no place to keep it now. CLEAR TEXAS TITLE. My girlfriend and I love taking it on a spin through the neighborhood. Legendary Honda quality. Thanks for your interest. On Jul-16-15 at 11:08:35 PDT, seller added the following information: This motorcycle is Kick Start only! This model never came with electric start. Thanks! On Jul-26-15 at 19:01:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I received a couple of questions about the compression release. It is my opinion they are not needed on motorcycles of this engine size. The only time I have found them useful is if you dump the bike, and need to clear the cylinder of any excess fuel.....this model had one that was needlessly complex and complicated starting. It's absence is completely unnoticed by the user. If you want one, you could always source one, but I do not know why you would. The spark arrestor is a part of the overly restrictive factory exhaust. That is why it was removed. It can be replaced easily. It installs with screws. Hope this helps.
