It marks the 40th Anniversary of the Hertz Shelby Rent-a-Racer. It is the rebirth of the Shelby Mustang after 36 years. It marks the beginning of the 2nd Generation of Shelbys, they united us with the nostalgia of muscle cars of the 60’s and the technology and advantages of the present. They have all the modern day safety features of today like anti-lock brakes, front airbags, and all the power and performance of the past. There are only 500 2006 Shelbys to mark the beginning of a new era of Shelby, this is car #388. All of them are black with gold stripe and all of them are numbered by Shelby with a CSM serial number just like the Shelby of the 60’s. This rare example of the Shelby GT-H is approaching 10 years of age and only has 16,756 original miles. It is a well cared for car that is excellent condition, no accident and a clean Carfax.
