I bought this wagon from the grandson of the original owner. Ordered new in McKinney Texas by the pharmacist owner of Smith Pharmacy on the square. At some point the daughter got the car and kept it till 2009 at which time it was transferred to her son. Since 2009 the car was stored outdoors and the moisture under the original vinyl top cause extensive rust on the top. The body is laser straight and showing no signs of rust or previous major collision damage, although it is evident it has been bumped both front and rear. The car appears to be 100% original with the exception of an older repaint of the original color. The interior is almost perfect with no rips or tears on the seats and little wear on the carpet. The headliner is not torn or split but is sagging. The dash has no splits or warping and the door panels are all nice with no splits but the carpet on the drivers door is worn. The third seat is excellent as are side panels, the carpet though-out the cargo area is intact and nice as are the chrome strips. The 455 starts right up and runs smoothly, the transmission shifts smoothly, the brakes stop but it needs a new power booster. All four of the power side windows work as does the power seat, the rear window motor works but the glass is not connected. All pieces to the jack are present. The tires are varied in condition and holding air, the spare is an older belted L 78 15. I have the front lower valance that is in fine condition. The AC system is complete and closed with the compressor turning freely, no belt. All in all a great old car that is worthy of restoration.
