48,000 miles Sunburst Orange II Metallic exterior and Ebony interior ECOTEC 2.0L I4 DGI DOHC Turbocharged engine (260 HP at 5300 RPM) Features 5-Speed manual trans, iPod/MP3 Input, CD Player, Premium Wheels, Rear Spoiler, Tinted/Privacy Glass, Keyless Entry, Steering Wheel Controls Condition Overall, the car is in excellent condition. It's always been garaged, rarely driven in inclement conditions, and babied since I bought it. Regular oil changes at a local dealership. I'm the 3rd owner, and I purchased it in the Spring of 2012. I'm selling because we have 3 cars and 2 drivers. I'd like to keep my daily driver in the garage during Winter.Issues to share 1. The right rear wheel has a bit of curb rash. 2. Every once in a while, maybe 3-4 months, the "Service Tire Monitor" warning comes up on the DIC. It goes away after restart. 3. Tires are at about 33-50%. 4. One of the holes for the front plate was not cleanly drilled I've always liked the HHR and thought Chevy did a real nice job making the SS look like a custom retro. You really get the best of both worlds with the SS. When taking it easy, the I4 engine is good on gas. When you spin up the turbo, the car has some impressive acceleration. It's a smaller car than most think, but with 3 seat belts in the back and a spacious rear truck area, this has been the perfect weekend fun car for my family. For you safety guys/gals out there, the 2008 HHR scored the top rating in the IIHS frontal offset test. Comparisons As of posting, there are only 7 HHR SS for sale within 100 miles, and all of them have a lot more miles. Also, I rarely see other Sunburst Orange II Metallic SS on the road. They're usually black, red, or silver. These are currently selling for more than KBB book value so I included a list of going prices for similar HHR SS. See image containing comparisons.
