Up for auction is a stock 1947 Chevrolet light duty pickup. The truck has a clear Wisconsin title. It has a stock running gear with a straight 6 cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. It has new brakes all the way around- new wheel cylinders, hoses and shoes with a rebuilt master cylinder. It runs and drives great. The body is solid and not rusty. The truck was originally red and was repainted tan about 15 years ago. It has a nice wooden flat bed mounted on a steel frame- see the pictures. Interior is also stock and has a good seat that isn't torn. Gauges all work except the speedometer. Lights also work. The driver's side window and rear window are cracked. Front and passenger side are ok. It has American Racing aluminum slot wheels with good 15" tires. This would be a fun truck to just drive around like it is, street rod it, or would be a great restoration project. It would also make a good advertising / promotional vehicle for a business.
