Hello pickup lovers. You now have an unbelievable opportunity to get a rare Chevy Crew Cab at a super price. I am listing for a friend who has decided he has no more desire to rehab his truck which he bought 30 years ago. It was purchased by the original owner in 1976 as a mover for a slip-on camper which is why it has all the HD suspension components - 8 bolt 16.5" wheels, HD axles and locking differential (build plate in pictures) My friend, the second owner, used it as a camper for some time then reverted to use as a simple P/U. He drove it 30 k miles without any problems. It now has 102k miles. The problems it now has only come from sitting in the driveway. The engine runs with a jury rig fuel delivery but it needs a new fuel tank w. sending unit (old tank is available). The exhaust system has to be replaced. The fuel pump and filter are new and the Q-Jet carb has had a recent rebuild. Brand new front calipers are included in the sale. It also has a trailer hitch. As is obvious from the description, this vehicle will have to be picked up and towed/flatbeded. It is located in northern New Jersey and the winning bidder will be put in contact with the owner about pickup - it has to be moved before Dec. 29. You can see from the pictures that it does need a lot of work but the interior is in very good shape and it should run fine when put together since it did so while in use. A shop manual is included. Needs a complete exhaust system from the manifold back - it has none now. 3. The engine ran 3 months ago with the jury rigged fuel delivery but the included old fuel tank, if wanted, is not installed. 4. This is the full crew cab version, not an extended cab 5. Interior is good as mentioned but the driver's floor is all rusty and leaks 6. New front calipers are not installed - in a box. 7.
