The 1972 Ford Mustang we have comes with a 302V8 motor which has plenty of power for the highway or driving around town, an automatic transmission, and RARE factory air conditioning which you will be hard pressed to find in a 1972 convertible for sure. All the components work as they should, Power Top goes up and down quickly and smoothly. It has been recently replaced and is in great shape, also comes with a GLASS back window. Tires are new and in good shape as well. Steel wheels, with hubcaps and we have some spares that go with the car. New exhaust has been installed and sounds as you would expect a true muscle car to sound. The paint is driver quality, car started life as a silver and black car and was repainted red sometime ago. There is a small amount of rust in the rear quarters just starting, floors have had some work done to them as well. Frame is solid. Original drivetrain runs great at idle and full throttle, no slippage in the trans. Interior has a couple of splits in the vinyl but is in overall good condition, seats have no rips or tears. Carpets are decent, chrome pieces show their originality and have some pitting/scratches. Most of the decent models and over-restored examples of this car are running in the $20k+ range. This is a driver, not a beauty queen by any stretch, but needs nothing but a driver to take it out and enjoy. Or start your Winter project early and turn it into something special!
