Vehicle Detail

One owner71,000 actual milesRare short bed with regular cabDocumentation will be providedSpecial ordered with the 351, 5.8 liter4X4 XLT package with all power optionsI have been a classic car collector for 25 years. Several years ago I also started collecting 1992-1996 Ford Bronco's and F-Series trucks. I owned many in the 1990's and always loved them. Wow, was that really 20 years ago? When I find outstanding examples I buy them. This is one of the best I've found and I added it to my collection recently. If I hadn't just purchased the nicest Bronco on the planet I would keep this F-150. My garage is getting tight on space. This truck is in remarkable condition. One owner since the day it was purchased new right here in Oregon (the Ford dealer is still in business today) and only 71,000 original and authentic miles. The condition more than supports the mileage claim but the Carfax report documents the mileage perfectly. I have a full copy of that report and will gladly forward it to anyone who asks. There is no negative history or stories to tell. Never damaged or abused in any way. Interior, exterior and mechanical condition are all excellent and indicative of a gentle life and quality maintenance. She runs and drives perfectly. Not even a squeak or rattle at any speed. If I said nothing more you'd still be able to form an accurate opinion for yourself by the time you viewed the 4th or 5th photo. For those of you that appreciate written information just as much as high definition photos, here you go- I will make brief comments under certain pictures throughout the photo display. All of my eBay experiences have been enjoyable over the years as I've sold members of my collection. I'm grateful for the kind words and compliments I've received. My opinions have guided me well and I stand behind them but please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and observations and they may differ from your own. I welcome showing my F-150 in person to anyone with genuine interest. I live very near the Portland Oregon Airport and would gladly pick you up. Each photo shows the truck clearly and accurately from as many angles as I could think of. It is my intention to make this as close to you seeing and touching it for yourself as possible. Feel free to click on the "ask a question" link here in the auction and I will respond to all polite questions. Phone calls are great too. My telephone number is 503-887-1231 and calls between 8AM and 9PM Pacific time are just fine. My auction runs for 5 days and is scheduled to end on Wednesday evening, the 9th of December at 7:00PM Pacific.I reserve the right to end my auction early in the event I accept a genuine offer and the truck becomes no longer available.*If you are outside of the U.S. or Canada, PLEASE contact me to confirm your bidding activity as genuine.* Everyone, please be sure to read my terms of sale located near the bottom of this screen. I'm a reasonable person but I will not bend on these basic terms unless previously discussed during the auction. A little communication goes a long way. NO RESERVE AUCTIONI did not set a reserve price. Unless an offer is accepted during the auction, the high bidder at the closing bell will be her new owner. All that I ask in return is for your bids to be real and your intent to purchase be sincere. I took every picture you're about to see the day before this auction started. No photo has been altered or enhanced in any way. This is my truck and these pictures are true to her in-person appearance. Thanks for your time, DAVE > The interior is in excellent condition. Only light wear present from 71,000 miles of gentle use. Owner did smoke cigarettes during the first few years of driving the truck (quit several years ago). There are a handful of minor blems on the seat fabric. NO holes and imperfections are very difficult to see but I'm a detailed oriented person. Carpet, door panels, headliner and dashboard are all mint. Authentic and documented original mileage. No tampering of any kind. 71,000 actual miles. The body and paint are in beautiful condition. There are no dents or dings to mention. The finish holds a very high shine and gloss. Any imperfection is very small and I provide close up photos of them within this display. All body panels fit together nicely with perfect gaps and alignment. Even the fitment of the bumpers is excellent. All chrome is gorgeous and free of any pitting or tarnish. Glass is crystal clear. The side windows have very light superficial blems from the rollers and tracking mechanisms. This is typical of these trucks and a design flaw that cannot be avoided. Every one I've owned has had the same minor imperfection. The power windows operate perfectly. I would like to keep my license plates but will leave them for the right buyer. This is a rub mark from the bug shield. I do have factory touch-up paint but wanted to show this flaw. When the deflector is mounted this blem is hidden. The tinted shield is included with the truck. Tires have just over 4000 miles on them. The condition of the bed under the liner is nice. Light duty use only. Hard to see but there is a scratch on the passenger bed side. The upper line visible in this photo is just a reflection. The scratch can only be seen when pointed out. V shaped scratch on passenger door. I had to angle my camera just right in order to magnify this flaw. Again, upper line in photo is just a reflection. That's it. 2 scratches and the bug shield rub are about all there is to mention. Even the factory leather covering on the steering wheel is still excellent. Unheard of on these trucks. The dashboard is perfect. No cracks of any kind. Also unheard of. Absolutely everything functions properly. All lights, gauges, wipers (with delay), hot heat/cold AC, cruise control, horn, etc... Power door locks with keyless remote. Power outside mirrors and windows operate flawlessly as well. The only non-factory item is the upgraded CD player. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean. All mechanical components are in fine working order. The 351 engine starts immediately and runs perfectly. Impressive power in all ranges. No misses, ticks or abnormal noises of any kind and no oil consumption. Even the often times troublesome exhaust manifolds are church quiet. The automatic transmission with overdrive shifts flawlessly and the transfer case engages perfectly. Front and rear differentials are also tight and quiet. I have no concerns regarding drive-train components. Simply turn the key and go. The undersides are spectacular. No rust or scale. NEVER exposed to a salted road. Undercarriage is the nicest anyone will find. Exhaust is original and still in excellent shape with Ford stampings throughout. Suspension, steering and brakes are all tight and sound. I am aware of no worn items and the truck drives perfectly!! In the interest of full disclosure, there is very light seepage from the main seal. I don't notice any drips on my garage floor but while snapping these photos with my nose inches away I did see just a little grime near that area. Not an issue, just wanted to mention it. None of what I photo'd here was cleaned in any way. This is simply how gorgeous the undersides of the truck are. Dirt is even hard to find. There is no exception for low mileage and good care. Such a nice truck. As a collector of this generation Ford F-Series trucks, my appreciation is well established. These trucks were the end of an era and by many standards the last of the best. I'm hoping that my appreciation for this F-150 is contagious. It is simply outstanding and all but impossible to find in this condition. Thanks again-____________________________________________________________Terms of Sale: 19yr old vehicle being sold AS-IS:Please read and agree with the following:I have described my truck honestly and to the best of my ability based on over 25 years of owning and driving classic vehicles. This is one of the finest examples you will find. I have 100% faith in the drivability of my F-150 and everything is in excellent working order per my written description provided above. I enjoy driving her without concern but she is almost 20 years old so routine service and repairs should be expected based on her age. Currently, all systems are operating properly. If you are not comfortable with a sight-unseen purchase, please come see the truck for yourself or have an independent inspection performed PRIOR to bidding, NOT after. I will not be responsible for the decisions of others. Free and clear Certificate Of Title will be provided. I would appreciate the winning bidder contacting me immediately upon end of auction just so the lines of communication are opened. My telephone number is 503-887-1231 PAYMENT TERMSA $1000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction ending preferably through PayPal just so we are both protected. Wire transfers and verifiable cashier checks are also acceptable. I'm an easy going person so if you need to make special financial arrangements please contact me BEFORE you bid and I will try to help. I have been with the same bank here in Portland Oregon for over 10 years and the Management staff knows me. You are welcome to contact them for your own security if you like. *The remaining balance in-full is due within 7 calendar days of auction end in the form of secure funds.* Some banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles of this vintage. Make sure if you are financing that your financial institution accepts the year and value of this vehicle before bidding and that my payment time-lines can be met. Please have your method of payment arranged prior to auction ending.TRANSPORT - SHIPPINGI am happy to be an active and hands-on part of this entire process from start to finish but the buyer is ultimately responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle and any pre-purchase inspections need to be done BEFORE auction ending. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly assist in loading and be present for the transport condition form and other reasonable help. Locating a transporter is the buyers responsibility but I can make recommendations and share the relationships I've built. Vehicle transport has become very reasonable. I personally use a privately dispatched trucking company. They have handled my transport needs perfectly for the last several years with careful handling, excellent rates and fast service even all the way to the East Coast. I will provide contact info at your request. Dependable Auto Shippers (D.A.S.) is a transporter that eBay recommends and my experiences with them before I started using only private carriers were just fine. My location zip code is 97214. Coast-to-Coast transport is around $1200.00 and even less the closer you are to Oregon. Shipping to Australia, Europe and other Countries has also become affordable and easy to arrange.*If you are outside of the United States or Canada, you MUST contact me to confirm your bidding activity as authentic.* If you are an eBay member with negative history or have a (0) or even a low transaction score, I need to hear from you just to verify your sincerity and accept your bids as genuine. We all started from (0) and I'm happy to give a leg up. I reserve the right to cancel bids at any point for these reasons. Email or phone contact is fine. Communication is all I ask. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the vehicle is no longer available or otherwise SOLD.
