EBAY WILL NOT TAKE VIN, THiS IS A 1986 not a 1980. 1986 Land Rover Defender 90 2.5L i4 Diesel Motor. White w/pale blue kicker stripes, charcoal interior new canvas top looks to be very original cast with modifications only in the seating, wheels and tires. Seating very nice and safe for kids or adult passengers. Showing 110 killometers originally from Spain so apprx 68--70.000 original miles look closely at all pictures the previous owner stated repainted 10 yrs ago and shows very nice with the exception of a few small character lines light chips etc. I would honestly rate this truck as an excellent driver runs drives very well all options lighting etc work just fine. Brakes, tires, exhaust, etc all ready for a road trip anywhere. From 30 feet it shows like a show car fully restored underneath it shows like a really good driver no real rust anywhere and mostly dry of leaks and such. There are some stains telling me leaks over 20 yrs but nothing shouts out and owner has driven weekly with kids for past 3 years. Just moved on to a believe this or not Hummer, silly man here. There are some things like the black grilles bumpers and some small trim pieces that are chipping and such from the normal aluminum finish not holding paint well but do not let me be too critical here. Its beautiful from 20 feet away and still very respectable from up close nothing needs to be done to use as a very nice driver. No evidence of hard use or accidents or nonsense hill climbing. The interior is like new original we are not experts but it is very very nice and jump seats have killer safety belts 5 point harness the spare tire and wheel have inside mounting brackets and spare is the matching custom black as the other 4 on the ground. The engine compartment also looks to be dead original with no modifications runs super and everything works well maintained with open check book as previous owner stated. Look at all pictures closely nothing to hide here. This is a nice straight original solid truck. Not a show car but very respectable and mechanically sound. Again we do a lot of nice unusual cars apprx 30,000 sold since 1948. We are now 3rd generation car guys but we are not Rover experts so any input on our pictures descriptions is welcome. We like it, you will love it, and no need for a shipper it drives home no matter where you live. Very tastefully done convertible top and side windows with roll ups I would guess $3000 worth Marine material like Sumbrella and clips.
