1979 MALIBU CLASSIC RESTO-ROD Beautiful ’79 Malibu Classic, Resto-rod, for sale by a private party. Restoration and customization was completed in 2009 and started with a rust-free body. Subtle customizations include narrowed “European-style” front and rear bumpers, shaved door handles, and locks. Less than 1500 miles have been logged on the odometer since completion. Malibu has power steering, power brakes (discs up front & drums rear), no A/C or radio. Car was used for cruising and car shows, never raced or abused. Owner selling for personal reasons. Malibu is powered by a “stout” 355 c.i. small block Chevy and backed by a modified turbo 350 transmission.
