The body panels are straight and the body shut-lines are all factory correct. The air conditioning blows cold as expected. All electronic components function as they should. The front seats show average wear and are not damaged, ripped, or torn. The rear seat leather is cracked and split open, but can easily be recovered by an upholstery shop. As previously mentioned, the tires were recently replaced and have seen minimal use. The passenger A-pillar interior handle is missing. The stereo and components are aftermarket. Accessory gauges have been added to the driver's A-pillar. No sagging in the headliner, etc. Glass and rubber gaskets are all in good shape. The engine compartment is clean and tidy. The mileage points to a car that you can actually use and enjoy instead of preserving as a museum piece. The car is offered out of a private collection. The previous owner is a successful oil and gas barron who also owns a contracting company. He is a collector of early Japanese imports consisting of mostly Datsuns and Toyotas from the 1960's and 1970's. He is a cautious and careful user of his vehicles, but he does carefully drive and enjoy them. He has the financial means to keep his vehicles in top running condition, and he does not race or abuse the vehicles in his collection. This car simply does not fit his collection profile which is his only reason for selling. This vehicle is sold as-is, where-is from our facility in Nacogdoches, Texas but we will be happy to arrange shipping to the successful bidder at the buyer's expense. After the initial deposit is received, we will overnight the sales documents to the successful bidder to complete the transaction remotely if necessary. We will also make the vehicle available anytime during normal business hours for the duration of the auction to allow well qualified bidders a test drive and/or mechanical inspection at the bidder's expense. The successful bidder is also welcome to come in and complete the sale in person. By bidding, you are entering into a contract to purchase this vehicle.
