Being offered is an exceptional example of a 1981 Datsun 280ZX Coupe. This vehicle is a one owner car. I recently took it from the confines of the only garage it has ever sat in for the past 34 years. Purchased November 26, 1980, is rolled off the production line in September of 1980 as the driver side door tag shows. Engine number L28E-533146. Accompanying the car is an abundance of paperwork including it's original "old school" N.Y.S title, pre-delivery inspection record, retail sale contracts, Rusty Jones undercoat warranty application form, original Datsun general warranty packet, original paint and chrome sealant warranty, lien release form dated 1/28/1986, original odometer (Mileage) statement reflecting "007" miles, original owners manual, two car show trophies and an endless stream of maintenance records mainly done through Datsun/Nissan... The provenance on this automobile is a collectors dream. Interior - has every option offered on the car for the year, including the original screw on T-Top underside panels, power windows, power side-view mirrors, reclining leather bucket seats, power steering, overhead interior light, map light, digital clock, digital AM/FM radio with cassette deck, original T-Top storage bags, cruise control, dual rear storage compartments with original chrome tubular handles, and more. The interior of this car is practically flawless. Exterior - front an rear chrome bumpers, accent stripes, working power antenna, optional six-inch wide two tone gold and chrome alloy rims, rear window wiper washer, body side moldings, chrome accent moldings, T-Tops that do not leak, and more. All marker lights are in mint condition, all power features work perfectly. The car Drives superbly and stays true, right down to the wheel alignment. *There is a small amount of topical rust at the mouth of the fuel receptacle and a fractional surface rust area approx. 1 1/2 inch. long at the hood opening area on passenger side between windshield frame and seam of the hood. Both imperfections are unnoticeable. THAT IS IT, THIS CAR IS %99.9999^ RUST FREE. Pin-striping also has minuscule ware.
