GREAT for first-time car, or if just looking for something consistent and reliable. 2002 Ford Focus 4DR ZTS189,000 milesLiquid Metallic GreyTransmission still under warrantyRuns great, NO smells, NO accidents/collisions, NO major repairs necessaryPOSITIVES:**Very honest seller, helpful and friendly, expect transparency and integrity**-Gas mileage good: ~23 mpg city, ~28 mpg highway-Relatively new transmission (replaced in 2013, still under warranty!)-Overall Kelly Blue Book condition: GOOD (KBB value at $1674)-Brand NEW multimedia player (including SiriusXM capability, bluetooth connection for music and phone calls including microphone, CD player, USB port, auxiliary port, AM/FM stereo)-GOOD speakers (music can get very loud, with very good bass, without shaking or rattling noises) -A/C and heater GOOD (AC needs to be refilled with leak-stop refrigerant, all vents and ac/heater settings are GOOD)-Regular maintenance-Exterior lights GOOD (functional: low beams, high beams, daytime running lights, breaks, blinkers, emergency flashers, etc.)-Interior Lights GOOD (functional: dashboard lights, shifter lights, interior/overhead lights, etc.)-Body wiring harness and components GOOD-Power steering GOOD -Air bags GOOD (never deployed!)-NO vehicle collisions/accidents-Battery GOOD (and NEW cables for battery terminals)-Body Control Module GOOD-Engine Control Module GOOD-Most electronics GOOD (functional: cruise control, starter, power locks, front power windows, back windshield heater, windshield wipers, wiper fluid pump, fuses and relays and circuit brakers all GOOD, all switches and sensors GOOD, all dashboard displays including odometer/speedometer/fuel gauge/temperature gauge/RPM GOOD)**Ford engines are the longest lasting on the market, very reliable, and cheap repairs if anything DOES come up.**NEGATIVES:**Having just bought a new car, I have not driven this one in a couple weeks, and I have not had the time for some simple repair issues. See below**-Back power windows could use repair (the plastic piece in the window regulators for both back windows broke; poor design and very common for this vehicle)-When engine idles, occasionally revs high, causing minor noise and slight shaking (again, a known issue in this vehicle, very common, and does NOT cause car to die when idle)-Alternator DECENT (output varies AROUND 14V, but occasionally alternates between 13V and 15V; starts every time and does not die while running) - UPDATE: replaced battery terminals for more secure connection, and I BELIEVE this has fixed the alternator issue seen previously.-Small crack in thermostat housing (easy/cheap to replace)-Minor oil leak (barely noticeable decrease in oil level over a month)-Exhaust recirculation system has caused vehicle to make noises in past (simple fix with replacement hose)-Minor exterior cosmetic defects (some minor scratches and the beginning of paint chipping) SHIPPING: Sorry, but I am unfamiliar with shipping vehicles.
