The gas engine is simple, the transmission has few moving parts, and electric motors run for decades. The only part that needs replacement/rebuilding is the hybrid battery. A battery can only charge so many times. I specialize in finding these vehicles that need battery repair, fixing and selling them. Very few people know how to do this process but it breathes new life into a prius which could conceivably only need battery maintenance every 10-12 years. This car was bought last year and I rebuilt the battery around 7 months ago. The bad modules were replaced, the system was balanced, the assembly was reinstalled and tested rigorously for six months. This vehicle has driven perfectly with only the occasional annoying light from a minor malfunctioning sensor. --- SensorThis vehicle contains a sensor that monitors the interaction between the HV and ABS systems. The OBD codes are C1504 and P0A80 which trip smaller codes. This sensor is very hard to replace which is why I'm listing it for cheap for anyone who doesn't care about the light but wants a good, well functioning car. After a couple months or when I get time I will replace the sensor and increase the price if it doesn't sell at this reduced price. --- WarrantyI stand behind my work 100%.
