New information : I am truly amazed, as it is Wednesday night at 9:30 pm and at this point this page has had 2405 views and 158 people are "watching" what happens with this listing -- either the car will be sold or not. Perhaps there are a a number of you thinking if you wait until expiration, you may purchase the car for $500, $1000 or even $2,000 less at some point. My position is this car is worth every bit of $13,000. Should it not sell (which will be totally amazing), I will immediately realist the car for $13,500 -- $500 more than it is listed for currently. There just aren't that many 390, 4-speeds around (my brothers and I wrecked 3 of them 35-40 yrs ago). If you are looking for such a car, ask yourselves, at $13,000 what is the downside risk? Stick the car in a garage and pull it out in a year, two or three, what will it be worth vs. sticking your money in a savings account and earning .05% interest. Good luck, whatever you decide! There are lots of really junky AMXs out there and there are lots of cars priced at $30,000 and above. Not too many for $13,000 (firm price) which include the big 390 Cubic Inch Engine with a 4-Speed manual transmission. My understanding is this car has posi-traction. At this price, the car is far from perfect. However, the VIN confirms the car's white exterior (not original paint), 390 Cu In engine with the 4 speed. It is a non-matching numbers car (??) --not really sure what this means, as I am told that these cars often times don't have numbers which match. In any case, I would rather be conservative and not oversell the car. Bottom line is that I am willing to provide any addition pictures or discussion as necessary should you have any questions whatsoever. Car has front disc brakes. As can be seen in the photos, the car is very complete. It is a good driver... engine starts and runs well. The transmission shifts well, with smooth shifting synchros through all gears. Power steering, New exhaust less than 1,000 miles ago. Some rust on the doors, behind the rear quarter panels and a section on the left side immediately below the rear window. I have owned the car for about 7 years during which the car has been registered/insured during the whole period. Car has been driven on a regular basis and has never let me down. Up to this point it has been extremely reliable. There are lots of other parts which come with the car -- the four stock mag wheels (chromed Crager SS are currently mounted on the car) are included. Two extra timing chain/oil pump covers are included. A Grant custom steering wheel is installed, but the standard stock steering wheel is also included. The owner's manual is included as is a workshop manual (poor condition). Various other parts are included such as a fuel pump, the stock AM Radio is out of the car, while an AM/FM stereo is installed. The car also comes with the orange "Save-A-Spare". Tires are in better than good condition --- shouldn't have to replace them for many miles.
