Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This truck is a rare find; A SWB Ranger with 81,975 actual miles. (Rangers were top of the line trim levels.) It is rust free and has always been garaged and meticulously maintained. It was owned by one Mississippi family for over 40 years and has never been used as a work truck. All original badging and everything still works, even the radio and Ranger bed light. 360FE engine with 3 speed transmission. The seat, steering wheel, dash pad , door panels, etc. are original and in great condition. This is truly a 1968 time capsule. It drives like it looks, no rattles squeaks or problems. As a matter of fact, we took it on a road trip to Cruising the Coast and spent the week there driving in bumper to bumper traffic with NO issues….it ran cool and smooth. Recent new items: Tires (with period correct Cragar rims), carpet, water pump, thermostat, battery cables, starter solenoid, hoses, rubber fuel line hoses, rear vent hose, fuel filler grommet, alternator, voltage regulator, fuel pump, exhaust system. All of this was simple “preventive maintenance”. I am somewhat anal about my vehicles. I will also include some additional new parts. If you know these trucks, then you know that Hagerty’s Valuation Guide has it at $12K to $15k, but my reserve is FAR below that value. I will consider ending the auction early for $8,950 with a $500 Paypal deposit. If you are interested in doing this, please call me early, as I cannot do this when the bids approach this price (out of fairness to bidders). I would also consider a pre 2006 Miata as partial trade. I am trying to have all 3 generations of the Miata and have the 3rd. Please keep in mind that this is a 48 year old vehicle and does have some wear and tear.
